Heavyweight icon Lennox Lewis has considered whether and should be granyed the opportunity to become a three-time world champion. The two Brits are scheduled to finally square off on December 11, headlining an event at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. Not only…

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has shared his verdict on whether Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua deserve to contest a world title in their upcoming bout. Speaking to Playbook Boxing ahead of the pair's scheduled December 11 showdown in Cardiff, Lewis argued that both fighters should seize any title opportunity available, stating: "If the title's out there – take it, grab it. I believe so [they deserve it]."
Fury and Joshua are reportedly set to compete for the vacant WBA "super" heavyweight title at the Principality Stadium. Despite critics questioning the merit of the title opportunity following recent warm-up fights, Lewis added that he hopes the winner defends the belt legitimately rather than acting as a paper champion. Joshua has stated he intends to unify with WBA regular titlist Murat Gassiev if victorious.
