Four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr stated that Conor Benn will never become a world champion following his recent defeat. Benn was stopped in two rounds by WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia after previously defeating Regis Prograis via decision in a 150-pound catchweight bout in April.
Despite dismissing Benn's title hopes, Jones Jr noted that the British fighter remains in a lucrative position. He advised Benn to pursue a trilogy fight against Chris Eubank Jr and participate in two more high-profile bouts to maximize earnings before retiring.
