Ryan Garcia has publicly expressed his support for Nestor Bravo to defeat Isaac Cruz in their interim WBC light welterweight title fight. Garcia posted his prediction on social media, picking Bravo to pull off an upset against Cruz at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego.

According to reports, a victory for Bravo would relieve public pressure on Garcia to face Cruz in a winter bout. Garcia has previously targeted Cruz and Angel Fierro for a return in December or January, ahead of a potential matchup with Teofimo Lopez in May.
