Ryan Garcia has publicly challenged Floyd Mayweather to a professional bout, insisting he will not accept an exhibition match and demands Mayweather put his 50-0 record on the line. Garcia's callout on social media follows reports from FightHype indicating that discussions between both camps have commenced. Garcia revealed an offer has been extended to the former five-division world champion.
Mayweather has yet to respond to the challenge and has not fought professionally since defeating Conor McGregor in August 2017. Meanwhile, Garcia currently holds the WBC welterweight title after defeating Mario Barrios in February 2026 and defending the belt with a knockout win against Conor Benn in September.
