The social media circus erupted after Mayweather publicly referred to the champion as his son. Stevenson proudly embraced the label on X, writing: “Floyd say I’m his son my new name baby money 😂💰💰”
Boxing fans instantly tore into the 29-year-old fighter. Critics mocked him for getting excited over another grown man claiming him. Others joked that the “Baby Money” persona might inherit Floyd’s notorious tax problems instead of his massive fortune.
While Shakur was clearly joking, comparing himself to Mayweather invites a harsh reality check. Floyd built a multi-million-dollar empire because he possessed blazing hand speed, sharp combinations, and violent power early in his career.
