Former world champion Tim Bradley stated that Jaime Munguia appears physically worn down despite being younger than Canelo Alvarez. Speaking on Boxing King Media, Bradley criticized Munguia's defensive vulnerabilities and punch resistance, arguing that years of taking heavy punishment have taken a toll. He pointed to Munguia getting hurt in recent outings, including against Nikita Zon and an earlier knockout loss to Bruno Surace, as signs of decline.
Bradley also raised concerns about Munguia's conditioning, suggesting that extra muscle bulk is causing stamina problems in the ring. Former champion Paulie Malignaggi supported Bradley's view, claiming Munguia is slipping quickly and noting that top fighters like Alvarez might view him as an easier target for future bouts.
