Former world champions Danny Garcia and Amir Khan have reportedly emerged as candidates to face Manny Pacquiao this December. According to reporter Lance Pugmire, Netflix remains keen to feature Pacquiao on the undercard of the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua event to maximize viewership, despite earlier rumors of a matchup against Shakur Stevenson being dismissed by promoter Dana White.
Pacquiao sought alternative bouts after legal complications indefinitely postponed a planned rematch with Floyd Mayweather. Garcia last fought in October 2025, winning by knockout, while Khan has not competed since retiring after his 2022 defeat to Kell Brook.
