WBC middleweight champ Carlos Adames signs multi-fight promotional contract with Zuffa Boxing

WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames has officially signed promotional terms with Zuffa Boxing. The Dominican fighter holds a 25-1-1 record with 18 knockouts and most recently defended his belt by unanimous decision against Austin Williams in March 2026. Adames described the move as a new chapter in his career, stating his readiness to compete against elite opposition.

Founded by UFC CEO Dana White and Turki Alalshikh, Zuffa Boxing now features three of the four major middleweight titleholders, including WBO champion Denzel Bentley and IBF champion Aaron McKenna. Adames has previously voiced intentions to rise to super middleweight, but he has not signaled plans to vacate his middleweight crown.
