New Zealand has suffered multiple injury blows ahead of its five-match home ODI series against India beginning on November 4 in Auckland. Seven players are dealing with fitness concerns, including Devon Conway, Rachin Ravindra, and Mark Chapman. Conway was ruled out of the opening ODI with a concussion following a training-ground collision with Matt Henry, while Ravindra is sidelined for the entire series with a shoulder injury.
Chapman will also miss the full series due to a hamstring injury, and fast-bowling trio Zak Foulkes, Will O'Rourke, and Ben Sears remain unavailable. Matt Henry's availability for the first match remains uncertain following a quad tear and the training collision. To cover these absences, New Zealand has called up Tim Seifert, Henry Nicholls, Dean Foxcroft, and retained Matt Fisher.
