The board has invited franchise owners, broadcasters and state associations to discuss preparations for the IPL's landmark 20th edition in 2027.
The BCCI has called a meeting of key Indian Premier League stakeholders on October 15 in Mumbai to prepare for the tournament's 20th season in 2027. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed invitations have been sent to franchise owners, chief executive officers, broadcasters, and hosting state associations.
The meeting aims to review past seasons, address stakeholder concerns, and coordinate operations, venues, and match-day planning ahead of the landmark 2027 campaign. Saikia noted the gathering follows decisions made at the board's Annual General Meeting to conduct the 20th season on a grand scale.
