Bhuvneshwar Kumar's national recall forces a reshuffle in India's Hong Kong Sixes 2026 squad, with Krunal Pandya taking over as captain and Kulwant Khejroliya coming in as replacement.
Krunal Pandya has been appointed captain of India's seven-member squad for the Hong Kong Sixes 2026 tournament, which takes place from October 30 to November 1. He replaces veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was originally named captain before earning a national team recall for India's tour of New Zealand.
Kumar's international recall marks his first selection in the Indian setup in four years, ruling him out of the six-a-side competition. Gujarat Titans pacer Kulwant Khejroliya has joined the squad as Kumar's replacement, completing a lineup featuring several prominent IPL players.
