England will play a 50-over warm-up match against a Western Australia XI at the WACA on November 7 ahead of their limited-overs tour. The fixture comes after the team faced criticism for inadequate preparation prior to their 4-1 Ashes defeat, where they played only an intra-squad match before losing the Perth opener inside two days.
Following the warm-up, Brendon McCullum's side begins a three-match ODI series on November 13 in Perth, followed by five T20 internationals. Prior to touring Australia, England will feature in an ODI tri-series in Pakistan starting October 20, with Mason Crane recalled to the squad in place of Rehan Ahmed.
