ICC ODI World Cup 2027 schedule to be announced on October 1 in Cape Town

The ICC and Cricket South Africa will unveil the full schedule for the 2027 Men's ODI World Cup on October 1 in Cape Town. The tournament will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, concluding on November 21, 2027. It will feature 14 teams competing in 57 matches across 12 venues, including eight in South Africa, three in Zimbabwe, and one in Namibia.

Ticket ballot registration will also open on October 1. South Africa and Zimbabwe have earned automatic entry as co-hosts, while co-host Namibia must play in the qualifiers. Eight other teams, including India, Australia, and England, have secured direct qualification via their ODI rankings, while West Indies must participate in the early 2027 qualifiers.
