The Indian cricket team management has added three emerging bowlers to travel with the national squad for the upcoming Asian Games in Japan. Pacer Rasikh Salam Dar, fast bowler Kartik Tyagi, and left-arm spinner Vicky Ostwal will accompany the main contingent. While not in the official fifteen-player roster, they will serve as net bowlers and immediate injury cover.
The strategic move aims to shield the Indian bowling attack against unexpected injuries during a condensed tournament schedule. The trio will assist during high-intensity training sessions and remain on standby for the Asian Games campaign and a preparatory fixture against Japan.
