The India National Cricket Team will be up against the West Indies National Cricket Team for a five-match T20I series. This will be a blockbuster of a series as the first game is scheduled for Tuesday at the Ekana Stadium…

India bowling coach Morne Morkel addressed the team's plans for 15-year-old batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ahead of the opening T20I against the West Indies at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Morkel emphasized that simply being around the senior national team environment and observing experienced players will be invaluable for the teenager's development, regardless of whether he features in the playing XI.
Morkel noted that head coach Gautam Gambhir and the team captain will determine the final lineup with an eye toward future World Cup preparations and squad rotation. The five-match T20I series follows India's recent 2-1 ODI series victory against the West Indies.
