Australia with near-full strength squad for Sunday's opener but question mark remains over number three

Australia captain Sophie Molineux has confirmed she is fit to play in Sunday's opening Rose Bowl T20I against New Zealand at North Sydney Oval after overcoming a hip injury. However, batter Phoebe Litchfield remains in doubt for the trans-Tasman series opener due to a hip muscle strain suffered during the recent ODI series against Bangladesh.
Left-arm fast bowler Lucy Hamilton is also in contention after returning from a quad issue with the Governor-General's XI. The upcoming series marks a format expansion for the Rose Bowl trophy, which was previously contested exclusively in ODIs but will now be awarded across all white-ball series between Australia and New Zealand.
