New Zealand great returns to Big Bash with Sydney Thunder

Sydney Thunder have signed former New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult on a one-year deal for BBL|16. The 37-year-old left-arm quick will have full availability for the tournament, including the finals, and joins compatriot Lockie Ferguson in the Thunder's pace attack under newly appointed head coach Andrew Flintoff.
Boult previously played eight games for Melbourne Stars during the 2022-23 season and has since competed across global T20 leagues. He is one of eight New Zealand cricketers who have signed with Big Bash League clubs for the upcoming BBL|16 campaign.
