The leg-spinner returns to international cricket after nearly nine years away, having taken 34 County Championship wickets in 2026.
Leg-spinner Mason Crane has earned a surprise recall to England's ODI squad for the upcoming tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The 29-year-old returns to international cricket after nearly nine years away, with his last appearance coming in January 2018 during the Ashes Test in Sydney.
Crane earned his selection following a strong 2026 domestic season with Glamorgan, where he took 34 County Championship wickets and 15 Vitality Blast wickets. Speaking on the Sky Sports Cricket Podcast, Crane admitted the call-up came out of the blue as England prepares for the tournament starting October 20.
