Asian Games: Seema Kumari runs into history with 10,000m bronze

Indian track and field athlete Seema Kumari won the bronze medal in the women's 10,000m event at the Asian Games in Nagoya on Thursday. Her performance ended India's 16-year wait for a medal in this specific event, marking only the third time India has claimed a medal in the women's 10,000m at the continental games.

Kumari secured third place with a finishing time of 32:50.05. Gold was won by Winfred Yavi, who clocked 32:39.18 after a late sprint finish, while Japan's Nozomi Tanaka finished second to claim silver in 32:41.54.
