After taking first-innings lead, hosts recover partially from early collapse to be 170 runs ahead with six wickets left going into final day of Ranji Trophy encounter

Rajasthan seized control of their Ranji Trophy match against Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, finishing Day 3 with an overall lead of 170 runs. Spinner Ajay Singh Kukna led the charge by taking 5 for 51, helping bowl out Tamil Nadu for 274 to secure an 89-run first-innings lead. Kukna bowled three batters as the visitors lost their final four wickets for just 10 runs.
Tamil Nadu fought back early in Rajasthan's second innings, with captain Sai Kishore helping reduce the hosts to 31 for 4. However, an unbroken 50-run partnership between Kartik Sharma and Mahipal Lomror steadied the innings. Rajasthan closed the day at 81 for 4 in their second innings with six wickets remaining entering the final day.
