Tamil Nadu batter, who worked on elevating his strong starts, leads team to 313 against Uttarakhand on Day 2

Pradosh Ranjan Paul scored a disciplined 136 off 279 deliveries to guide Tamil Nadu to 313 against Uttarakhand in their Ranji Trophy second-round clash. Resuming Day 2 on 37 overnight, the 25-year-old left-hander curbed his tendency to play rash shots outside off-stump, anchoring the innings through a 171-run partnership with Baba Indrajith, who contributed 77.
Following extensive mental conditioning work with coach Tanveer Jabbar and Baba Aparajith, Paul's patient knock secured a 179-run first-innings lead. Despite a subsequent batting collapse sparked by Mayank Mishra's five-wicket haul, Tamil Nadu pushed Uttarakhand to 9 for 1 in their second innings, targeting an innings victory.
