Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi once again proved her mettle on the biggest continental stage, winning two gold medals at the Asian Para Games for the second consecutive edition after clinching the women's individual compound title on Thursday.
Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi won two gold medals and one silver at the 2026 Asian Para Games, replicating her three-medal haul from 2023. The 19-year-old armless archer successfully defended her women's individual compound crown by defeating Singapore's Alim Nur Syahidah 142-139 in the final at Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Multipurpose Square.
Earlier in the day, Devi teamed up with Toman Kumar to secure gold in the compound mixed team event. She also took home a silver medal in the women's compound doubles alongside Payal Nag after a final loss to China, matching her historic achievement from the Hangzhou Games.
