Erling Haaland has urged Manchester City to remain united and positive as the club deals with the fallout from a panel finding it guilty of serious financial rule breaches in the Premier League.
Erling Haaland has urged Manchester City to stay united and positive following an investigatory panel's verdict finding the club guilty of serious financial breaches. Ahead of City's upcoming clash against Liverpool at Anfield, the striker encouraged supporters and teammates to spread love, stick together, and keep smiling despite the controversy.
Manager Enzo Maresca stated that he completely trusts the club's ownership and insisted the squad remains focused solely on football. The panel found City artificially inflated revenues by over $1 billion between 2009 and 2018, finding them guilty of 80 charges, though the club is appealing the sanctions.
