Australia suffer ODI series defeat to South Africa

South Africa secured an ODI series victory over Australia with a 32-run win in the second match of their three-game series in Johannesburg on Sunday. After being sent in to bat, the Proteas reached 365-9 behind centuries from David Miller, who scored 142 off 93 balls, and captain Temba Bavuma, who contributed 103 off 116 balls. Australian bowler Jack Edwards took 5-67 in his second ODI match.

Australia were bowled out for 333 in the final over despite half-centuries from Travis Head, Mitch Marsh, and Xavier Bartlett. South Africa's Lizaad Williams claimed 3-54, while Keshav Maharaj, Bjorn Fortuin, and Marco Jansen took two wickets each. The result gave South Africa an unassailable series lead ahead of the final game in Potchefstroom.
