South Africa secured a 67-run victory over Australia at Kingsmead in Durban after posting 297 for 8 and bowling Australia out for 230. Matthew Breetzke led the home side with 112, while Marco Jansen contributed a 59-ball 75 before taking four catches in the field. Nathan Ellis took 3 for 57 for Australia.

Australia began their chase quickly, reaching 90 inside 10 overs behind Mitchell Marsh's 60 off 31 balls. However, left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj took 4 for 20 and Bjorn Fortuin claimed key wickets as Australia lost their final nine wickets for 101 runs.
