The PCB has fixed the PSL 12 player auction for January 23, 2027, while a direct signing window is already open and a China venue proposal is under consideration.
The Pakistan Cricket Board announced that the PSL 2027 player auction will take place on January 23, 2027, ahead of the league's 12th season. While the venue is not yet finalized, a proposal has been submitted to potentially host the auction in China, which would mark the league's first auction outside Pakistan. Additionally, a direct signing window opened on October 23, 2026, and runs through November 23, 2026.
Under new rules, each of the eight franchises can directly sign one marquee player who did not feature in PSL 10 or 11. The tournament itself is scheduled to run from March 18 to May 2, 2027, featuring 44 matches across five to six venues in Pakistan, with the final confirmed for Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
