Lhuan-dre Pretorius made history on Friday by scoring an unbeaten 188 off 79 balls for the Titans against the Knights in the CSA T20 Challenge. The 20-year-old South African surpassed Chris Gayle's long-standing record of 175 not out set in 2013, registering the highest individual score in T20 cricket history.
Pretorius hit 15 fours and 13 sixes during his innings, powering the Titans to 267 for three. The Rajasthan Royals batter, who also scored a T20I century against Namibia last month, achieved the record despite previously facing limited IPL opportunities and recent injury setbacks.
