Litton Das has put himself among the best wicketkeeper-batters of the modern era by doing this.

Bangladesh wicketkeeper Litton Das broke a 60-year-old Test record during a match against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. Das recorded nine dismissals behind the stumps while also scoring 53 runs in the first innings and 102 runs in the second innings.
His achievement surpassed South Africa's Denis Lindsay, who took eight dismissals alongside scoring a century and half-century in 1966. Australia's Alex Carey previously completed a similar feat against England in 2025 by taking seven dismissals.
