Top 5 high-profile overseas players teams will target at WPL 2027 auction

The Women's Premier League 2027 mini-auction is scheduled for October 28, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi. Following the retention deadline on September 28, a total of 27 slots remain available across the five franchises, including seven overseas slots. Each franchise can carry up to 18 players, with a maximum of six overseas players permitted per squad.

Prominent released overseas players entering the auction include West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin, who was released by UP Warriorz, and Australian leg-spinner Alana King, who was released by Delhi Capitals.
