‘Wouldn’t have believed it’: Epic twin tons as Aussies face monster chase in thrilling finish

Centuries from Ryan Rickelton and Wiaan Mulder put South Africa in command of the decisive third Test against Australia in Cape Town. South Africa posted 387 in their second innings, setting Australia a challenging 288-run target to win on the final day. Despite joking about being run out by his longtime friend Mulder, Rickelton praised their 154-run partnership that reshaped the match.

Australia face a difficult chase across 90 overs without Steve Smith, needing what would be the venue's second-highest fourth-innings pursuit. Australia bowling coach James Franklin noted the pitch has slowed but retains bite for spinners, while South Africa lean on Simon Harmer and Kagiso Rabada to seal a series victory.
