Apple and Dolby Laboratories have announced that Apple TV is adding Dolby Atmos to its Formula 1 coverage, beginning with the United States Grand Prix weekend on October 23. The new audio feature joins Dolby Vision to offer subscribers enhanced immersive sound alongside existing 4K visuals.
The broadcast upgrade will be available on compatible Apple devices, smart TVs, and supported audio setups using the Apple TV app. The United States Grand Prix weekend begins officially on October 23 with practice sessions ahead of the race on Sunday at 3 p.m. local time.
