Ralf Schumacher urges Aston Martin not to waste time and take action over Honda ‘embarrassment’

Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has urged Aston Martin to explore switching engine suppliers due to ongoing performance struggles with Honda. Speaking on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast, Schumacher called Honda's engine issues an embarrassment and argued that the Silverstone-based constructor should act quickly if an alternative option is available.

Schumacher and co-host Peter Hardenacke discussed rumors connecting Aston Martin to alternative power units from Mercedes or Red Bull. While Schumacher acknowledged Audi could become a top competitor in the future, he labeled Audi a risk and suggested Mercedes would represent Aston Martin's best alternative.
