Audi has confirmed long-term development plans to build a new Formula 1 campus near its existing factory in Hinwil, Switzerland. Parts of the new site on Zurichstrasse became operational in summer 2026, with the entire facility scheduled for completion by 2030.
The existing Wildbachstrasse facility will be redeveloped while retaining its modernized wind tunnel and manufacturing operations. Audi will also keep its engine development site in Neuburg and UK offices in Bicester to support talent recruitment, according to team CEO Mattia Binotto.
