Audi have confirmed that junior star Freddie Slater will make his F1 weekend debut at the Mexican Grand Prix later this month.

Audi has confirmed that British junior driver Freddie Slater will make his Formula 1 practice debut at the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix. The 18-year-old racer will participate in the opening Free Practice session in Mexico City and is also scheduled to run in FP1 at the Brazilian Grand Prix in November.
Slater, who finished as runner-up in Formula 3 in 2026, became the inaugural member of the Audi driver development programme earlier in the year. He has already secured a Formula 2 drive with Invicta Racing for the 2027 season, with Audi racing director Allan McNish praising his progress ahead of his two scheduled Grand Prix weekend outings.
