Christian Horner has revealed Red Bull phoned him after its win at the Bahrain GP…

Former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner revealed that Red Bull leadership called him to acknowledge his contributions following their maiden victory with their in-house power unit at the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix. Horner shared details of the gesture during an appearance at the Autosport Business Exchange, expressing his appreciation for the recognition from his former colleagues.
Horner departed Red Bull midway through the 2025 season after leading the squad from 2005 and establishing Red Bull Powertrains following Honda's planned exit. He confirmed that both team shareholders and Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff personally reached out to thank him for laying the foundation for the Ford-backed engine program.
