David Almansa produced a flawless ride from the opening corner of the Moto3 Qatar GP to deny newly crowned champion Maximo Quiles a historic single-season record.

David Almansa secured victory at the Qatar Moto3 Grand Prix, preventing newly crowned champion Maximo Quiles from matching the single-season win record. Almansa took the holeshot from pole-sitter Quiles into Turn 1 and led comfortably to claim his fourth win of the campaign by 2.516 seconds.
Adrian Fernandez finished second, while Quiles recovered from an early drop down the order and a late error to take third. Brian Uriarte finished 14th after an early crash, successfully securing the Moto3 Rookie of the Year title.
