Kimi Antonelli stepped up to his F1 title challenge in emphatic fashion after dominating the United States Grand Prix to put himself on the cusp of the championship.

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli dominated the 2026 United States Grand Prix from pole position at Circuit of the Americas to secure victory and move within reach of the world championship. Charles Leclerc finished second for Ferrari after overtaking Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who took third. Antonelli can now secure the drivers' title with a ninth-place finish at the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton finished fourth following a late virtual safety car triggered by Valtteri Bottas's Cadillac, which halted his pursuit of Verstappen. Lando Norris took fifth, followed by Isack Hadjar, Oscar Piastri, and George Russell, who served an in-race five-second penalty to finish eighth.
