Isack Hadjar dismisses Red Bull restrictions: ‘I’m not five years old’

Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar has dismissed suggestions that his team placed restrictions on his outside activities following a fractured wrist. The 21-year-old sustained the injury to his left wrist while boxing during the summer break, forcing him to miss races at Zandvoort, Monza, and the Madring.

Liam Lawson deputized alongside Max Verstappen during Hadjar's absence, while Yuki Tsunoda filled in at Racing Bulls. Despite the missed events, Red Bull announced in Baku that it has retained Hadjar for the 2027 Formula 1 season without adding extracurricular restrictions.
