McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella has shared his reaction to the collision that occurred between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri on the final lap of the Singapore Sprint.

McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella has addressed the final-lap collision between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri during the Singapore Grand Prix Sprint, calling the incident serious and unacceptable. The clash resulted in Piastri's retirement from the Sprint and cost the team eight points. Stella stressed that while such unpredictability can occur in Formula 1, material damage that compromises the team's objectives cannot be repeated.
Stella explained that the lost points significantly impact McLaren's championship fights against Red Bull and Ferrari. Although FIA stewards ruled neither driver predominantly to blame, Stella noted he is not seeking apologies. Instead, he expects both drivers to reflect constructively and collaborate to ensure McLaren's collective interests remain the top priority moving forward.
