Joan Mir is set to miss his fourth consecutive MotoGP round and the final one at Phillip Island, as Honda confirms the Spaniard continues to recover.

Honda rider Joan Mir will miss the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island as he continues to recover from severe, unexplained fatigue. The Spaniard has been sidelined since the San Marino GP weekend following advice from MotoGP Medical Director Dr. Angel Charte, having already missed races in Austria, Japan, and Indonesia.
Extensive examinations at Dexeus University Hospital have failed to pinpoint a clear diagnosis, prompting Mir's medical team to rule out his return. With reserve riders Takaaki Nakagami and Aleix Espargaro also sidelined due to injuries, Honda HRC Castrol will field Luca Marini as its sole factory representative in Australia.
