Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc leads the 2026 Formula 1 crash damage rankings after racking up over $2 million in estimated repair costs, according to a report by Bild. Leclerc narrowly sits ahead of Alex Albon and Oliver Bearman in the ranking, which is calculated based on estimated replacement-part expenses. His costliest incident occurred during a heavy crash into the barriers at Monza.
Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher criticized Leclerc's frequent errors, claiming the Monegasque driver makes pointless mistakes in an attempt to be fast at all costs. Schumacher also voiced criticisms toward McLaren's Lando Norris over his reaction to an incident with Oscar Piastri, as well as Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton regarding his attitude within the team.
