Lewis Hamilton admitted responsibility for the Ferrari decision on the cooldown lap following a tough Singapore GP.

Lewis Hamilton took full responsibility for Ferrari's flawed strategy at the Singapore Grand Prix after dropping to a sixth-place finish. Starting on medium tires, Hamilton attempted to create strategic variance against front-runners Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, but his pace faded, turning him into a bottleneck for chasing drivers.
After pitting for soft tires on Lap 18, Hamilton pushed to finish the race without a second stop, but his tires degraded heavily in the closing laps. He was overtaken by Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri, subsequently apologizing over the team radio for costing Ferrari valuable points.
