McLaren Racing reportedly set for historic $1billion revenue milestone

McLaren Racing is reportedly on track to become the first Formula 1 team to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue, according to Sky News. Financial filings for the 2025 calendar year are expected to show the team declaring £588 million ($779.6 million) in revenue, with Formula 1 activities accounting for more than 90 percent of the total income.

The upcoming filings are also projected to reveal a record payout exceeding £75.4 million ($100 million) for McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown. This sum includes share awards tied to a buyout by Bahrain's Mumtalakat sovereign wealth fund and Abu Dhabi's CYVN Holdings, which valued the racing outfit at £3.5 billion.
