David Croft fears one Lewis Hamilton comment has undermined Fred Vasseur’s ‘authority’ at Ferrari

Sky Sports commentator David Croft suggested that Lewis Hamilton's comments about having a close relationship with Ferrari chairman John Elkann could undermine team principal Fred Vasseur's authority. Speaking on the F1 Show, Croft questioned who truly holds power at Ferrari given Elkann's hands-on involvement, especially as pressure mounts over Vasseur's future following the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Ferrari recently affirmed full confidence in Vasseur amid an ongoing title drought that dates back to 2008. Hamilton is currently 103 points off the championship lead, and his relationship with Vasseur has reportedly faced strain after recent disagreements over driver hierarchies and rules of engagement.
