Why Marc Gené will not be on Sky Sport F1 for the Malaysian Grand Prix

Former Formula 1 driver and broadcaster Marc Gené will miss Sky Sport F1's commentary coverage for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix. The Spanish commentator confirmed on air that he is stepping away for one race weekend to get married to his partner in Barcelona.

Gené is expected to return to his usual broadcast duties following the wedding. Sky Sport F1 has not yet officially announced who will fill his technical commentary position alongside Carlo Vanzini, while the rest of the network's broadcast crew will remain unchanged.
