Toto Wolff's nine-year-old son, Jack, was involved in a frightening multi-kart crash during a race on Friday at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo, Italy. While battling for the lead in the X30 Mini category, Jack collided with Nahyl Elgahoudi, whose kart launched over his machine before trailing driver Dimitar Uzunov went airborne directly over the cockpit.
Despite absorbing an impact to his shoulder during the incident, Jack emerged unscathed, exited his kart unaided, and was eager to return to the paddock. The crash took place only a month after the Mercedes team principal's son secured the IAME Series Italy title in the X30 Under-10 category.
