Six wins at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Max Verstappen has really made the place his own.

Max Verstappen joked that the Mexico City Grand Prix should be renamed the 'Maxico Grand Prix' after clinching his sixth victory at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Starting from fifth on the grid, the Red Bull driver capitalized on early infighting between Ferrari drivers to secure his third victory across the last four races, extending his record as the event's most successful driver.
Verstappen admitted the win was unexpected, noting he initially struggled to match Charles Leclerc's pace before overcoming tire grip challenges. After a red flag period reset the field, Verstappen successfully defended his lead despite intense late-race pressure from Lewis Hamilton.
