Sergo Garcia terminated his LIV Golf contract this week. Then at the Open de Espana, Garcia said he enviosoned a possible PGA Tour return.

Sergio Garcia confirmed a potential return to the PGA Tour is definitely a possibility following the court-approved termination of his LIV Golf contract. Speaking ahead of the 2026 Open de Espana, the 2017 Masters champion stated that every option is on the table as he evaluates his future. The Spanish golfer's contract officially concluded following a court ruling tied to LIV Golf's Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Garcia noted his priority is securing eligibility for the 2027 Ryder Cup under European captain Luke Donald, whether as a player or vice-captain. A PGA Tour return remains complicated due to a one-year suspension running through at least August, though he could qualify for 2027 via the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai rankings. Garcia also expressed strong interest in joining the PGA Tour Champions when he turns 50.
