DP World Tour Play-Offs Set To Go Ahead As Planned

The DP World Tour plans to proceed with its scheduled season-ending playoff events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai despite ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East. Although the Asian Tour recently postponed its PIF Saudi International following an attack on Riyadh airport, DP World Tour officials confirmed tournament preparations are advancing after consulting with international security and travel advisors.

Players including Rory McIlroy and Ryan Fox expressed confidence in the tour's safety evaluations, while Matt Fitzpatrick softened his initial hesitations about traveling. The events remain on track to decide the Race to Dubai title race between Patrick Reed, Rory McIlroy, and Eugenio Chacarra.
