Jon Rahm is set to officially part ways with LIV Golf following a U.S. bankruptcy hearing in New Jersey on October 7, 2026. Rahm's attorney confirmed the golfer rejected the league's restructured terms under its proposed "LIV 2.0" relaunch. Rahm is currently negotiating a consensual separation agreement after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund withdrew funding, placing the league into Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Rahm is reportedly still owed up to $150 million from his original contract, signed in late 2023. His departure opens the possibility of a return to the DP World Tour for the 2027 season and an eventual path back to the PGA Tour.
